I have two bullfinches on the blackberry bush just by my window. They are stunningly beautiful, in their grey jackets, black caps and red waistcoats. I wish I had my camera and could get a clear view of them as they hop about finding goodness-knows-what to eat. I daren't encourage the birds to my garden due to a very enthusiastic bird-spotter with fur, but sometimes I get some beautiful visitors.
