One of the niggling arguments I've had recently with Dad was about his towels.
"I know you have a lot to do, but when you take my towels off to wash, I'd appreciate it if you brought them straight back. I'm running out of towels and I can't afford to keep buying them, just to have them disappear into your house. If you can't make time to do them and bring them back, just leave them here and I'll do them."
(No appreciation, of course, that one reason I haven't done them is that I am spending every evening over at his place while he's ill and so am away from my laundry facilities).
I have just found an accumulated mountain of dirty towels in his house which he hadn't told me needed washing. No wonder he's got no towels. Pah. Better get my washing machine going quickly and ensure they're back in place before he gets home ;)
