And then some

The big black stress monster clearly has his catapult aimed straight at me and mine. Into the midst of the emotional upheaval of my last entry has come another one, which again isn't mine to discuss in this venue.

What? You coped with that, Smudgie? Well, let's see how you handle this then.

Hmmm.. wonder how long it'll be before I'm preaching on Job?

I asked for an extension to the five years in which I need to complete my Local Preacher Training but, apparently, as I still have two years to go and one out of four sections complete already, it's too soon to need to make that decision. They reckon I've enough extenuating circumstances to make that allowance, though, if it should be needed, and all my services for the next three months are covered by someone else. I have been signed off from work for a while, so you may be inundated with blogging, who knows? I certainly want to share with you some of the highlights of our France holiday before I forget it ever happened.

All I can say is: God is good. God is so good. I can feel his hand holding me together in one piece through all the turmoils of life (and boy, am I beginning to appreciate the word "turmoil"!), guiding and giving loads of glimmers of light in the dark places, let alone loads of laughter and love and support and yet more laughter.
Too many coincidences for me to believe in coincidences!

(Don't be afraid to email or text me if you're not just a random reader - I'm not in communicado.. in fact, I don't know where communicado actually is, or there are days when being in there would be lovely ;) )

And on a lighter note..... can someone please explain to me why Smudgelet finds it hysterically funny that I now have a big butt round the back?

;o)
