Today is to be a "Get on with it, woman, and clean and tidy this house" day.
My brother has left me, my sister is coming tomorrow. Today it's just me and there's plenty to do... when I've just had a cup of coffee.
Yesterday was not good.
Today I am determined will be better. At least today I've remembered to feed the poor starving Pavlovas. I may achieve something today. And thanks to a good friend with a natural talent for flapjack almost to match Jack the Lass's, I shall eat better if not more sensibly today! :)
I am now an expert on Descartes (pah, do I understand any of the stuff I've given my son to read?) and Rousseau (My Dad once painted me a fabulous Rousseau tiger, the only one of his pictures I can't find anywhere), but have still to hit the Science books and find out about Mercury. It's quite nice being the pupil instead of the teacher for a while! Now if you'll excuse me, I have exercise books to cover!
