Birthdays

T&E you are totally right, it is indeed Tiddles' birthday on Sunday.
He may have to make do without presents, but it's lovely to know he'll have plenty of cards.

We've often looked at those birthday cakes with maltesers on top and thought how tempting they look, if only Tiddles and I didn't dislike chocolate cake so much, so when we visit, we are going to share one of those cakes but without the disgusting brown splodge on the bottom, just focussing on the delicious decoration on the top. Thank goodness they sell Maltesers in the vending machine in the visits room :o) I have told him that, as a treat, I will also get him a glass of lemon squash. Honestly, I don't know what they put in those vending machines but, in an attempt to save myself from the torture of drinking engine oil masquerading as coffee, on my last visit I tried the "cool lemon squash". Well, I think I did. I reckon, actually, they had filled it with cleaning fluid as it looked and tasted rather like Flash but slightly more fluorescent! (Don't ask me how I know what Flash tastes like!). Good job they can't go far wrong with hot chocolate, isn't it? I can see that all this visiting will play havoc with my waistline.

I'm waiting now for the windscreen people to phone me - thankfully they appreciated the urgency just as soon as I mentioned going to Longleat!
