The holiday cottage we're renting on the Isle of Wight (my first trip back - a little daunting!) is let from Saturday to Saturday. We can't go until Tuesday because of work, alas, so I'm trying to persuade a work colleague that she'd love a weekend on the Isle of Wight. The big problem, though, is that we actually need to stay until Sunday night.
I had an unfortunate brainwave.
Can I stand to spend one night.... one whole night.... under canvas?
And if I buy a tent, does that mean I won't have an excuse never to go camping again?
