I need a nice day, I thought, so I can go down to the shed and get the Christmas boxes out. It's a nice day today, so what am I doing? Sitting in my pyjamas reading the internet in order to put off washing the dishes for a little while longer, and a little while longer. Simply because I know it is the first job on my list.
The Smudgelet is at university today. Precocious child. He reckons it is because his school had to choose the fifteen pupils most likely to go to university and send them for this day of interesting extension activities - I reckoned it was that the school selected the fifteen pupils they most wanted rid of for the day ;) Wish I was going to be at home when he gets in, to hear all about it. He's so excited! :D
Was it a wise move putting the solitary male back in the hamster cage with the four females? Time will tell.
Coffee, I think. Hmm... I'm going to have to wash a mug! (By which I could mean go into the kitchen and start the washing up, or could mean go into the bathroom and complete my ablutions first. Or both!)
