I am rather proud with my endeavours so far today, considering that I have done a fair bit of procrastinating.
*(Gentlement avert your eyes - my fellow women will appreciate that some days a female really doesn't want to be standing upright or out of reach of a loo for very long, especially when the weather's hot and humid!)
It's OK, you can look again now.
I have taken Tiddles to the stables (and won his everlasting love by emptying my five-penny-savings and buying him a Horsemasters T-shirt which the stable lads and lasses there are allowed to wear as a voluntary uniform if they wish). I have taken Smudgelet to be assessed for restarting swimming lessons and watched proudly as he demonstrated his prowess - not bad considering he hasn't been to lessons since before Dad died. I have done a load of shopping and come home without the photos. I have put a load of washing on the line (and am delighted to report it is now possible to stay in the same room as Tiddles' jodphurs without having to open a window). I have cleared almost everything from Dad's bungalow that is possible to move without two strong men to help me (shame one of them's my brother and the other is married!). I now somehow need to find my own bungalow from under all the "stuff" that's now occupying almost every square inch of floor, table and chair space, in anticipation of somehow having to find room for all the contents of the veranda when we demolish it next week.
I have now, however, run out of steam so I'm sitting with a coffee and waffling online. To think I was planning to cook a proper dinner today!
