Well, the Pavlets are proving almost impossible to photograph as yet. Mum is fiercely protective - though I must say it's hugely funny when one wanders out of the nest and she races after it, grabs it by the scruff of the neck and gives it a right shaking before shoving it back among the bedding. It just happens all too fast for me to grab the Smudgelet's camera and turn off the flash.
I've managed a couple of shots which I'll have to see if i can edit so that you can glimpse more than just the straw tunnel that they're hiding in. The Pavlets are now brown rather than pink as their hair is just beginning to grow, so they're even harder to spot.
Poor old Mr Pavlov seems most depressed, all on his own. Apparently I can't put him in with another male as they'll fight. Mind you, if you consider we've only had one litter of pups in the space of six months, then maybe putting him back in with the females wouldn't be so bad..... NO, DON'T BE FOOLISH, SMUDGIE. NO, NO, NO!
