This morning I had a disaster.
I went to sit on the computer chair while I printed out a tables test for school.
In moving the chair and sitting down simultaneously, I realised the cat was sitting under the legs of the chair.
I tried to avoid hurting the cat -stopped moving the chair, but still sat down where the chair would have been if I hadn't stopped moving it.
Chair and I go over backwards.
In the fall, I catch hold of the computer desk.
It falls apart in my flailing hands.
I end up upside down with the computer chair on top;
half the desk held in one hand;
computer mouse dangling above my nose;
keyboard at a jaunty angle in my other hand;
the screen in apoplexy;
the cat scrambling to safety over the top of it all.
My five year old comes into the room and looks at the scene and says.....
Mummy, can you fasten the top button on my shirt for me please?
