Back to full time work. Well, almost anyway. I suppose I can't really say that until tomorrow, seeing as I wangled the afternoon off today. I am not looking forward to doing a whole day tomorrow, though, as I was shattered when I got home today. Mind you, it wasn't helped by the fact that half of Year Eight are in France for the week so I had a combined class in the morning - the two bottom sets combined - for an extra long maths lesson. Oh bliss! Still, it confirmed for me that I am far happier teaching set 4 than set 3 - some seriously unendearing kids in that group! I have them again tomorrow. Oh, and playground duty, which means I won't get a break.
Put two noses in the post this morning. Interesting look on the post office chappie's face when he enquired as to the value of the parcel. :o)
Church yesterday was fantastic. Amazing really as the service was based around the closing of the Girls' Brigade in our church but was quite inspiring. And rather nice to have a full church, too, I must say as the singing raised the rafters. I was glad they decided to do a group photo of all the GB people there after the service as it meant we got to the front of the coffee queue! Sad news though: two lovely members of the church - elderly folk who were friends and an inspiration to me - have died. Don't suppose I'll get to go to the funerals. I'll miss them.
Disaster - I have discovered Green and Blacks White Chocolate. It is all the Ship of Fools fault, running a chocolate thread. Well, I had to find out what they were talking about, didn't I? It was my Christian duty!
