In preparation for leaving the country in just under two weeks (two weeks....is that true?? seriously... wow!), I had a big garage sale on the weekend. It was quite successful, I made about $400 and met some rather interesting people. It seems odd (maybe rude is a better word) though, that if you put in an add in the paper saying
"strictly 8am"
that people think they can show up at 7am and ask to see what you have or to see something in particular. There are some really, really pushy bargain hunters around. A positive experience overall though.
