HRH the Prince of Orange and HRH Princess Maxima

This is me after I have come back from the reception. I don't scrub up too badly....
We arrived at the ambassador's house at about 3.00pm, waited for about 15 minutes and were then told that we have to face away from the side door because you aren't allowed to watch them as they come in. There were about 400 guests and the Prince and Princess (or Willy and Maxy as I like to call them) shook hands with every single one of them. They are such a lovely couple and as it turns out, she is 4 months pregnant.
We then followed a red carpet up to a marquee on the back lawn and were given alcohol/soft drinks and yummy little canape things (with caviar and all good things - you know the type I mean). The Prince and Princess came and talked to groups of people.
I felt very special. It's not something you do everyday.
