Watch out - Dinosaurs!

The boy came to visit on the weekend and I had a little adventure planned so we trekked to the depths of south London to go to the Crystal Palace Dinosaurs. It is a rather surreal experience because as you walk around this lovely park, you turn a corner and all of a sudden you come face-to-face with a dinosaur (or large mammal). It was very interesting to see just how the Victorians imagined them to be.

The dinosaurs are located in a park that originally included the Crystal Palace. There was an interesting little museum there and a few remnants of the Palace dotted around....
