Considering we are travelling in a few days, we squeezed the two main tourist attractions in at the last moment.

We visited Madurodam the other week. It is quite how I remember it as a child only now it has a few extra things and a much larger entrance for the larger tourist crowds.

I tried to take a few photos to get things in scale. So, here is me:

It's very cute place but a bit commercial and there are many, many tourists there.

Next on the list was Keukenhof

It is a lovely afternoon to spend strolling through the flowers. It has only been open for 2 weeks so all the flowers weren't out but it was a nice enough day and there was still plenty to see. I tried to make a slide show but it was too pixellated (sp?) so here is a random succession of photos (note that I have worked out how to use the close-up setting on my camera! Yippe!):
