.....because when you go on two weeks leave, the two of us will get together and knit or crochet a cover for everything on your desk. It's been a long time in the planning and I think it's finally finished:
The bigger picture
A close-up of the desktop. Covers were knitted for the mouse (in the shape of a mouse...), the mint box, the stapler, the phone, the keyboard, and many other things.
He left his shoes so they got a cover too.
His shelf with two of my favourite covers - the tissue box and his tea canister.
One of my last tasks - the pencils.
The ceiling was not neglected, I made a series of pom-poms.
He's due back tomorrow morning. Boy, will he be in for a surprise!
