We are still staying at Berwick Backpackers and working in the internet cafe for food and board. It is a fantastic arrangement and the owners are just lovely. When my boy got back from the Netherlands, the owners cooked us a fantastic salmon dinner and I made a black forest trifle for dessert (for which they bought all the ingredients).
The lady owner buys us little treats when we go shopping and has taken me out for Cream Tea (my favourite!). We feel very spoilt and are enjoying our time in the beautiful city of Berwick-upon-Tweed. Unfortunately the weather hasn't been too great but when the sun is out, I plan to do the full walk around the walls of the city.
