I've been so busy getting ready to go overseas for a month (on Monday!) that I have neglected my wiblog.

Spurred on by Miss Lisa, I'll post a little bit about the Australia Day Live concert. I am led to believe that about 30,000 people showed up. It was a fantastic experience and I feel really special to have been asked to sing. Here are some photos (I'm not sure how many will be recognised by overseas readers....)

and here are two shots my mother took from the audience (I'm on the far left):

I loved hanging out in the green room (the underground carpark at Parliament House had been converted into one), making the most of the fantastic catering and free drinks. We even had our makeup and hair done. They had live feeds from the stage so we could watch what was going on. After the concert, the free alcohol from the green room was stashed in various bags and taken back to the hotel. It made for a rather intense after-party.

They broadcast our half of the concert on Music Max (a foxtel channel) the following night so I have the recording of that as a reminder of the fantastic experience.
