The Christmas parties at work have been great. We went to High Tea at the Hyatt and lunch at Teatro Vivaldi's. Both were very nice but now there are some interesting photos floating around work (I got the moustache from a Christmas cracker....):

I think I've almost finished my singing engagements for the year. In the space of two weeks, I sang in Mendelssohn's Elijah, Handel's Messiah, Britten's Ceremony of Carols AND a 9 lessons in carols service. Very enjoyable but quite exhausting. This weekend I am cantoring at the local church and singing the Christe Eleison from Bach B Minor Mass and then I should have a two week break before rehearsals start in the New Year for Mozart's La Clemenza di Tito.

I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself today. Last night I slipped on the step coming out of my caravan and landed on the ground. I sat there, a bit dazed, realised nothing was broken and went to get some icepacks. My wrist doesn't seem to hurt today but my back is still aching (where it hit the step). Hopefully I'll get some good bruises so that the pain seems worth it!
