I've been accepted into my post-graduate course! I am going to be doing museum studies through Macquarie University. I have previously completed an honours degree in historical archaeology. I have applied to be a distance education student so I am not tied down in Sydney. I'm quite excited.
I did start a Graduate Diploma in Education this year but after getting through two courses, I realised that teaching probably isn't for me. I liked the research too much and not so much the practical side.
After securing the job at the Australia War Memorial, I realise how much I like this type of work so why not go back and study and make myself better at it?
