My thesis (worth 80% of my mark) is due next year. What a frightening thought. Having a wiblog is the ultimate procrastination tool!
I really enjoy being paid to type and to sing. Not fantastic sources of income but they don't lead to much stress and are quite enjoyable most of the time.
Singing is my passion and while I have been training for many years, I really have to knuckle down and get into some serious practise routines. For a while I thought that if I practised, I would not have an excuse for making mistakes in concerts and in performances, then I sort of got into a rut of not practising. I will make a concerted effort to do this from now on. I realised while cleaning out my music folder that about 85% of the music I am learning/want to learn are Handel arias and songs. Guess that says a quite a bit about the music I currently desire.
Moving out of home is scary and satisfying at the same time. It's been two weeks away from home now and I think it was time to do it despite the fact that my parents are moving to Canada. I really love having the freedom and space to be myself and do what I want. I think this can lead to a bit of a selfish nature because you only really have to think about yourself so this is something I am conscious to avoid.
I consider myself very lucky to have great, supportive and loving friends.
