It's wasn't pleasant, not in the least. Don't guess breaking up is ever easy but....... at least I did it face-to-face. I really don't want to dredge up the hurtful comments but there were some very bitter and hateful things that were said. It's so easy to dwell on comments like that which were said in completely unrational situations, I'm sure many of them weren't meant in the way they sounded but they are still incredibly hurtful.
It's just so sad knowing that while you still love somebody, it really isn't going to work out between the two of you and you are losing of the best friendships you have. I am a very affectionate person who is friendly with my buddies (both guys and girls) and I am really going to miss having the physical affection from a partner.
Just having moved into a new house and now being single, I really am starting a whole new life for myself (as stressful as that is, it is invigorating in some ways too).
