Unfortunately, I don't really have the internet access to write entries over the weekend. That just means I have to write them at work, oh well.
I guess that it is always busy around this time of year but I feel rather exhausted after having 6 social engagements over the weekend. I need a break to get over my weekend! They were all very nice.
One of my social engagements included going to see 'Garden State'. I found it painful and funny all at the same time. It was definately a quirky film. Seemed to me to be a very reflective piece and while I came out asking myself what the film was actually about, I could nevertheless seem to shake the feeling that I liked it immensly.
After giving my ex a Christmas present a few days ago, he gave me one back at a dinner we were both attending. It is the most beautiful Handel CD and I have listened to it 3 times already. I am extremely pleased that he feels good enough about me to give me a present and hopefully this is the sign that a good friendship will eventually surface out of the turmoil.
A thoroughly enjoyable weekend all in all.
