Back from my NZ holiday. It was beautiful. I was very greatful for being able to get away from the turmoil that has been in my life for the last little while. Emotionally and in moving on from my previous relationship, I have taken quite a few steps backwards. Things have been extremely hard and complicated and knowing my parents are now on the other side of the world hasn't helped matters.
I don't guess I can post too much detail because I know that one of the people involved tends to read my wiblog. In brief, life has been hell.
It has finally hit me how much I will miss the chamber choir that I was singing in (the ex conducts this choir hence the difficulty in me still singing there). I have some wonderful friends in there and I will terribly miss seeing them every week and singing great music really well. I guess it also means that I won't be getting a little extra pocket money from a 'scholarship' program I was going to get involved in. I love singing, it's all very sad :(
One small piece of sunshine (good news) was that my boss is going to extent my contract until after my thesis is due so that I don't have to worry about looking for a job while getting my thesis ready for submission. I am very lucky to have such a great boss.
