I can't believe how cold it is. It is the middle of summer and so far (as of 11.52am) it has reached 10 degrees this morning. The coldest day in February is recorded as being 12 C. I'm thinking we are going to be pretty close to breaking that record.
Even with the weather, I braved the pool this morning (I know, call me stupid). It was okay in the pool doing my 10 laps but it was absolutely freezing being in wet swimmers and making the dash between the pool and and the showers.
The ex-boyfriend has been sending me very nice emails recently. I think we both realise how much we have been hurting each other and how irrational we may seem to one another. My counsellor is right by saying that we can't help each other through a break up because we are the ones breaking up and causing each other the hurt. Doesn't mean we can't be civilised to each other though. It's now been 2 months since the break up and I hope this type of communication means we can eventually be good friends. It breaks my heart to not have contact with him so while I know it's best for both of us it has been hard to give up something that used to be such a big part of my life. I'm in crisis mode again.
