Crochet and Love Life Live Lent

I have had alot of free time on my hands recently so I decided to get a little creative with crochet. I bought a ball of wool from the local shop and made myself a headband (learnt how to do the flower on youtube):
and also a pair of 'nappy soakers' for my little nephew (by request from my sister):
Since I have never seen my little nephew, I have absolutely no idea whether I made them the correct size but alterations will be quite easy.
Today is the start of Love Life Live Lent program which this year is based on being a good neighbour.
It will be an interesting little thing to do because I will be travelling alot of the next few weeks so introducing myself to my neighbours might mean the next hostel bunk bed.
Action 1: Read the story of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10.30-37). Done.
I also managed to get Action 20 (Say hello to a police officer) out of the way today too (is that allowed?) because I took the opportunity when it arose considering I don't often see police officers.
