You realise how slack people are on a Friday when you arrive to work at 10.45am and you are the first person there! That was me this morning after my 14 laps swim.
I rang my Opa last night and the operation took 4 hours but appears to have gone well. It was something to do with fixing a thing in her neck. For some reason they had to go through the front (and do something with a piece of bone from her hip) so she is rather hoarse and sore but okay. I will visit her tomorrow (Saturday) and take a nice card and flowers.
I'm on antibiotics now since my bronchitis cough got worse. I hope everybody else is feeling better (Veritas, Ian....). I'm hoping I can shake this cough before traipsing to the hospital tomorrow, taking other germs into a hospital is not the wisest thing I could do.
