My boyfriend and I did have a nice break over the weekend, we went to Goulburn to sing in a concert at the Masonic Lodge and in the Cathedral on Sunday morning with the choir from St Peters Cremorne. It was nice to be singing that kind of music again and with people I enjoy being with.
Yesterday was Anzac Day so I watched some of the parades on television and the dawn service that was broadcast from Gallipoli. I just can't comprehend what the people must have gone through at war, I have an immense respect for them. Lest We Forget
Due to the public holiday though, and considering I was at home doing thesis stuff rather than being at work, I completely forgot that I had a rehearsal for The Sorcerer and instead went out with a friend for their birthday to a really nice Thai restaurant. I do know my part but I still should have been there. Ah well.
