Looking at my diary for the last week, I don't know how I survived it. There are just scribbled things everywhere, I don't think I even had time to stop and think about how busy I was. The time was mostly taken up with Sorcerer things. Getting my costume ready, working out exactly what I had to do as a teapot, remembering my lines and music, rehearsals......
The show went really well and we made about $2,000 for the tsunami appeal. It's a shame it isn't more but at least it's a something.
On Saturday afternoon I had a wedding to sing at (before rushing back to get ready for the last Sorcerer show). The bride looked absolutely stunning. It was a vintage inspired dress with old lace and ruffled silk and she was wearing a beaded head-dress. Just gorgeous. I sang 'Panis Angelicus' and the Catholic hymns that they had. They paid me $80 which I was very happy with.
Back into another week, hopefully be able to focus a bit more on my thesis this week now that the show is over.
