Last night, for no reason other than they feed us once a week, my boyfriend and I invited over his family for dinner. This invitation was taken by his parents and youngest sister.
I made my version of moussaka which includes the traditional lamb mince, eggplant and bechamel sauce but also has a layer of spinach, a layer of potato and some fetta. I think I impressed them with my cooking.
This was followed by a dessert recipe of mine that the boyfriend put together - raspberry self-saucing pudding.
It was a good night and after spending hours at work yesterday, it was good to have a relaxed night (after all the cooking and cleaning was done).
Off to Sydney today. Unfortunately this means I left all the washing up to my boyfriend..... Sorry!
