Isn't job searching so disheartening?
In my previous job searching days, I did not have any problems. I usually always was asked for an interview and there were only 2 jobs that I was knocked back for.
Now, out of three job applications I thought I was well qualified for, I have had two rejections and not heard back from the other. Actually one of the jobs was for the same department I am working in now and they called me yesterday to say that I put in an excellent application, it was very well written but they had people with PhDs in the area applying for the job. Ah well, that's life.
On the upside, it looks like my boyfriend's mother may have found me a Christmas job in student admissions. Not the most glamarous job in the world but at least I will be employed and be getting other experience while I search for other jobs and sort out my life.
