I had one performance of the Messiah on Friday. I sing the aria 'He was Despised'. It's a beautiful but sad aria. The audience was rather packed in. I was pretty pleased with my performance.
One of the soloists came up to me afterwards and said that he thought I was the best soloist on the night. I think that was so nice of him to say that.
The other performance is tonight so hopefully that goes as well.
Oh yes, and I got a HD for my honours thesis.
