Due to the huge success of our first concert, we are holding a second one and along with it comes all the costs. Therefore, we are holding another fundraising event - this time - a Bunning sausage sizzle. Bunning are very generous in letting people use their equipment to fundraise for a community organisation. They supply the BBQ, tables and even the gas.
What I am currently trying to plan is what we are going to sell and what we are going to need. I was thinking that bacon and egg rolls would sell well in the morning and then we would progress to the traditional sausage sandwich and possibly some burgers (a little more labour intensive but I'm hoping it will pay off). We will also have chocolates, tea and coffee and the softdrinks.
I know a community choir that did a sausage sizzle at the same Bunnings that we am going to and they made about $1,000. Here's hoping....
