The fundraising is over and after our expenses, we raised over $1,300 for GHEI. I have been told that this will be enough to buy about 215 insecticide treated mosquito nets which can help prevent about 430 people from getting malaria for a period of 5 years (or pay for half of a football field or deworm and provide shoes for 850 children and teach them about hygiene).
