I did work on the Saturday of the long weekend but I still managed to make the most of the Monday holiday. On Sunday morning my 'in-laws' picked me up and drove me out to Junee . It was a pleasant drive out of Canberra. On arrival at Junee (we were staying at my in-laws father's place), I went and fed the chickens and collected the eggs. The rest of the day was spent driving to other farms and enjoying the beautiful weather we cups of tea. Later in the evening the boy arrived there after finishing off a choir job in Canberra.
On Monday, I did some yoga in the shade of the beautiful federation-style house we were staying in. I then read my book in the same shady patch. It was just so nice to not be doing much at all. The boy and I then made the mandatory trip to the Junee Licorice Factory
It was such a lovely weekend.
