Q (which I posed on Sunday) What's wrong with my ankle?
A The Dr wasn't specific and didn't diagnose cellulitis as Mum and AD had both suggested, he just said 'probably your eczema is infected and has caused some soft tissue inflammation', but he gave me some antibiotics, which was what my two advisors (three, including Mum's medical dictionary) had advised. Ankle is still a bit puffy and my progress across the office to the tea machine after sitting down for a while is very Herr Flick of ze Gestapo, but getting less painful.
Q (posed to me at w*rk this afternoon by my newish, Italian and very friendly deskmate) Why you don't talk much this afternoon?
A (as actually given) I'm kind of engrossed in this fiddly bit of copy and pasting, and being an introvert I find chatting quite taxing, while I'm quite comfortable with silence, while for you as an extrovert it's probably the other way round'.
Which was quite true, but the alternative I decided not to say on grounds of self-protection:
A Cos if you don't talk, you can listen to other people's conversations, and there's been a couple of real humdingers of office politics and history today.
