Following on from Steve's recent blog entry, and I seem to remember Jack having a photo of a van which was an affront to pedants everywhere, I have to report that yesterday in Vauxhall I saw a van which declared the location of its owners' company to be 'New Coverngarden Market'. Let's just hope it was done by a greengrocer and not by a professional signwriter. On the other hand, a while back I saw a letting agents' van with 'SOMEONE-OR-OTHER PRORERTY SERVICES' emblazoned on it. That has to be a typo, unless it was just someone working out amusing things to do with a piece of black masking tape.
However, my best ever BSV was not a light industrial vehicle at all, but a phonetically-spelt item on the menu in my employer's training college canteen. I *hope* it was poultry in wine sauce ....
