A week in the life...

I've been meaning to post a few things for a while, but things have been rather busy this last week. The irony of blogging is that when you have stuff to post about, you are also, inevitably, too busy to do so! Anyway..

Firstly, for those who know what my last post was about, I've still not heard anything. Isn't waiting fun?!

Secondly, a while ago I posted about this song, which I'd heard at the Gower Folk Festival, and which has since been an amusing metaphor for various unwanted attentions. 'Roses from the wrong man again?' ;) Anyway, I'm pleased to report that this is not always the case. Sometimes there are roses from the right man. A lovely man. And then you just grin lots, and feel very lucky, and grin some more :D:D:D Even if they don't last forever :(

Lastly (for now), this week I'm starting the methodist church's Worship Leader training course, which is a 7 session course, which does exactly what it says on the tin, so to speak. Leading worship, but not preaching. And apparently includes ideas, discussions and information sharing about this, what worship means, what it does and doesn't include, how to go about planning/writing/leading it. The fact that I'm doing this is to some people not a surprise, and others are convinced this is the first step to something bigger. I'm not sure at the moment, and probably won't be for a while. I'm just determined to enjoy the chance to spend some time doing something I enjoy lots :)
