Went to see women@thewell today. It's fantastic. There's everything from showers, laundry facilities, a big industrial kitchen, lots of meeting space of different sizes, a lovely chapel, a smaller meeting room that has a small kitchenette installed, a little terrace garden. It's amazing. I had a lovely chat with one of the women involved in setting up the project, and it seems that my skill set will be useful. So, subject to a CRB check (not even a parking fine, ever - see my halo, see it shine), and satisfactory references, there's every chance I may well be volunteering with them one evening a week when it all gets off the ground.
