Eurgh. Just eurgh.

That winter vomiting virus thing is sweeping Rosamundi Towers. Oooh, I feel ill. And so, judging by the amount of washing adorning the hallways, do most of the residents of the block.

Eurgh.

The nice people at Mesh returned me my poor poorly computer, now not poorly any more, but having had a new motherboard installed and a total re-install of the operating system. Which was, quite frankly, a pain. See, they restored it to factory settings, and factory settings was Windows XP pre-Service Pack 2. At one point, my Windows Update window read "Installing update 42 of 75" which made me blink a bit.

(Yeah, I know, serves me right for having Windows. Bite me. I. Don't. Care.)

Anyway, all is now sweetness and light, and I don't have to resort to furtively uploading photos to flickr in my lunch break at work, so even as I type, there is a new set being created on flickr, namely a wander I wandered on a couple of weeks ago, along the Grand Union Canal from Little Venice to Perivale (which was when it started raining, so I came home).

And I managed to download the first episode of the new season of Torchwood just before it became no longer available through BBC iPlayer, which made me happy. Nobody told me this "feeding the hungry" lark would mean inconveniencing myself, which is frankly outrageous.
