Tree is in and decorated (we're a traditional lot en famille Rosamundi, the Christmas decorations go up on Christmas Eve, not before), and I only got poked in the ear once by an errant branch, and dad's put all the cards up around the house. It is now Officially Christmas.
I had a bit of an anxious moment during the decorating of the tree - our decorations are an eclectic collection ranging in age from 59 years (Dad's first Christmas, aww) to, um, 12 days (the padded felt heart that was a gift from Golightlycat). Anyway, my favouritest decoration is shaped like a crescent moon with a face, and I couldn't find him! Fortunately, he had merely been put away in the wrong place and not broken, so he's in his usual place near the top of the tree.
