Which is no fun when you have a dodgy tummy, let me tell you (Smudgie, thanks for the bucket, but I think I'm past that stage now).
Anyway, my local water company are introducing a hosepipe ban from Monday, and wrote me a lovely helpful letter informing me so, and of the penalties involved should I be caught using said item of equipment. (£1,000 fine, possible jail sentence).
Except I live on the second floor of a purpose-built block of flats and the only greenery in my possession is three cacti on the kitchen windowsill (and the yoghurt lurking at the back of the fridge but I'm not mentioning that in case Rosamummy is reading this). Oh, and some nearly-dead freesias in a vase.
I hereby pledge to do my bit for the water shortage by not using a hosepipe to water my cacti. (Or the yoghurt).
