And now it has been confirmed.
I went to the supermarket to buy dried milk powder to go in my breadmaker. Bored, in the checkout queue (I always manage to choose the till where someone is paying for their shopping in laboriously counted-out pennies), I started reading the back of the tub. Where, I noticed, it said in large, bold capital letters:
CONTAINS MILK
