I've got my class assignments for IOLI's lace convention in Montreal. I shall be doing Milanese lace, which is exactly what I wanted to be doing, and I'm getting ridiculously excited. And I got a place on the tour of Quebec City on the Wednesday, and got my hotel booking in early enough that I can loll in isolated splendour in a king-size bed! St Catherine, patron of lacemakers must have been looking out for me!
I've also got a week in New York beforehand, and three free days in Montreal after class is over.
