Does anyone remember those rather nasty plastic jelly shoes that were around in the late 1980's? The ones that look like this and always broke as soon as you looked at them?
Well, they're back. And selling for £65 a pair.
Apparently, these ones are a designer version, and they were silver with diamante on the toes, but really...
Oh, and if we could have a laying on of hands over my backslidden washing machine, which has decided that spinning the drum round and round is no longer part of its job description (gee, thanks, and here's me with a load of wet towels in the wash), I'd be grateful. I have no idea what the Helpful Man From The Yellow Pages is going to charge, but I'm betting it will be closer to "oooh, lots and lots" than "crikey, that's a bargain."
Ah well, no new shoes for me this month.
