Oh, the shame of it!

One of the requirements of being a Lay Dominican is going to Mass on a daily basis where possible. I'd been going to Tyburn Convent, but getting up in time for Mass at 7:30 was a killer - it's not fun at this time of year when the alarm goes off at 05:30 in the morning. And it's amazingly difficult to find out Mass times from the archdiocese's website - you need to have at least some vague grasp of the name of the church, the street it's on, or something else in order to find it in the directory - not helpful when all you know is "it needs to be near work and be finished in time for me to get to work for 9am."

Anyway, I found a church, and I went tonight, so I could see if it was practical for me to go to their 8:00am service. The 6:00pm service is over by half past, it's a 10 minute or so walk back to the office, sorted.

But oh, the shame - a Dominican having to go to the Jesuits for Mass!
