I know I haven't blogged about it, because really, what is there to say, but I am boycotting the Beijing Olympics, partly out of solidarity with the suffering Church in China and partly out of disgust with China's awarding of the Olympics in the first place, given their flagrant disregard for human rights.
And I thought it would be easy - it's certainly easy to avoid the main broadcast coverage, just switch the channel, and I haven't been leaping for the off-switch when the results come on the news - but I thought that Britain would put in its usual slightly dismal performance and I could just waltz on my merry way regardless, offering up the occasional prayer to the patrons of China.
However, even though I haven't been watching the coverage, or checking the results on the BBC Sports Olympics site, I've still picked up that we're doing quite well.
Bother.
Our Lady of She-Shan, pray for us.
