I know it's my birthday, but really, you didn't have to give me the gift of a vile and stinking cold.
I do not understand people who come into work (she says, typing this from work), when they are blatantly and obviously ill, and are not risking loss of earnings or job if they stay at home under the duvet and groan a lot.
Stay at home and keep your germs there too.
