I went to get my eyes tested on the 9th and I needed a new prescription (and a referral to the eye hospital, but that's not relevant). So I went through the rigmarole of choosing new frames (twice).
"They'll be ready in two weeks," chirped the chirpy lady as she took my money (don't ask how much, I have traumatic amnesia on that point), but it was lots, even on "Buy one pair, get a second pair free."
Two weeks came and went last Friday. It is now nearly next Friday and I still do not have my new glasses. The man I just spoke to on the phone, whilst terribly helpful, apparently can't find any record of my order. I am awaiting a call back so he can clarify this point for me.
I am not happy.
Next time, I'm going to give Glasses Direct a whirl.
