Fortified by lunch, I gave Business Post one last, despairing phone call.
The desk is broken, which is why they haven't delivered it, so they were actually telling the truth when they informed PC World of this on the 16th (either that or they've broken a second desk. I didn't ask). It doesn't explain, however, why they tried to deliver it on the 24th and the 27th.
Do excuse me whilst I bang my head against the wall until I pass out.
